Hard work pays off
There is quite a bit of work that goes into the cabin experience. Here is a recap from the Rowland’s on their cabin adventure:
“Ever since we moved to the Rowland Ranch we had a vision to place several Tiny Homes on our property that could be used by friends, family and eventually grandchildren. Well, in August of 2021, after A LOT of sweat, tears, extra expenses, applications with the city, permits from the county and many-many answered prayers… we FINALLY placed our first Tiny Home.
We purchased this home from Leland Cabins in Grandview, Texas. They did an incredible job building this cabin and placing it on our property. Little did we know that BUYING the cabin would be the EASIEST part of the whole experience. Getting the approval from the City of Desoto, getting the septic approved by Dallas County, getting the water, septic and electricity connected with all the permits, approvals and inspections required was quite the experience.
It was DEFINITELY worth it, once it was all said and done but it will take quite a while for our property to look the way it did before this adventure began. It has all been worth it. We thank God for all the answered prayers, provision and life lessons we learned through this experience! Our experience with Lelands cabins was a dream come true from start to finish!! So thankful!
